The Role
Great people, great cars, will be working here again!
Welcomed me into the team, gave me work whenever they could
The perfect amount, very helpful if you ask but not overly so as to keep you on your toes
The team try their best to find work for you, worked on many great projects and almost always have at least something to do
Left to work on a number of things, only being a first year I obviously didn't have huge responsibilities but that's as expected
Very valuable knowledge of the area and skills in working in a team, talking to people you don't know, being proactive in your work, talking on the phone and in meetings, and more!
The Company
Relaxed environment, very team orientated and people are very happy to help each other.
A few issues with passes for the areas of the site at the start but everything was sorted fairly quickly, also the teams weren't really told much about what I was there for or how long I was there or anything really but this wasn't a big issue.
Online training courses given and free training courses available, to be honest I don't think this is particularly applicable at this stage
Subsidised Canteen
My dream is to work for them
The Culture
Yes, the majority of us stayed at the same halls in Coventry and spent a lot of time with them, also spoke to a number of them at work
Cheap accommodation in Coventry subsidised by JLR, cheap pubs/clubs in Coventry
Not too bad in Coventry, but not amazing... Other nice places around though e.g. Warwick, Leamington Spa etc, depends where you stay to be honest
Lots of people with interesting hobbies, easy to find someone to do something with.
