The Role
Good fun, learned loads, lots of opportunity to see what all the different departments do
Given a fair amount of responsibility and was treated as a team member from the first day
Managers made sure that there was always something for me to do and are always happy to help
Days were usually lined up with things to do
Was given parts of projects that even the managers were working on
The skills I have developed will definitely be very useful to go on into industry after university
The Company
Great bunch of people always joking around but still getting work done
Slightly slow start in the first week but things picked up very quickly
I was given access to the companies training facilities which were good to use
Company Car
Very interested in coming back and exploring more of the company before deciding which department to go for
The Culture
Lots of events were organised in the student digs we stayed at
Pretty good value for money
I didn't live in the area I worked in
Worked just outside Birmingham so lots to do in the city centre
