The Role
Good company and interesting content but was not that well organised, a lot of sitting around with little to do.
Very welcoming, accommodating and helpful
Manager was very busy but others in the office were useful
Sometimes long periods with little to do, other times lots of interesting projects to work on
More than expected, lots of data manipulation that was not checked over so they give a certain amount of trust
Very useful for final year project and computer training will definitely be useful in the career
The Company
When the office was full, it was fun and friendly but could be times with only a few people around and was very quiet
Other interns in different areas seemed to have more to do and better supervisors so maybe just unlucky with my manager
Had the option to do training courses which I took in a wide range of topics
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Financial Bonus
They offer a separate assessment scheme for placement students, increasing the chance of future employment
The Culture
They recommended accommodation where the majority of the undergrads lived so was very sociable
Living costs were average but socialising was cheap
Coventry isn't the best but surrounding areas offer more
If you organised it yourself amongst other interns it was good but the company did nothing
