The Role
It was brilliant, worked in audit FS in leeds, had a variety of clients and had exposure to year end work, auditing cash balances
I was given a lot of responsibility and once i had finished my work i would help my colleagues on their work.
Managers don't really have time, but it would be either the qualified exec that helps you, or a second or third year senior who has had experience with the client your working on.
This purely depends on the size and complexity of the client. my client was medium sized i had work from around 9 - 6.
A lot of responsibility, i was given balances of the trial balance to audit, this involved liaising with the clients accounts department
Wont really help in my degree, but it will help when i start with a job.
The Company
Great but this will depend on the team and client.
Very well setup, and I was pretty much doing the work a first year graduate student would be doing.
They invested a lot of time in teaching me how to audit the financial statements and various balances on the trial balance.
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Well I have got the job!
The Culture
Great social scene, apart from the events the company plans,us students have our own!
Lived at home, but leeds is not expensive.
Leeds is quite a party central!
Yes quite a few.
