About You
I had a really great time during my placement. Everybody I met was extremely friendly and helpful and I had the chance to experience a variety of things during my time there.
As it was in a regional office there was definitely a family feel with everyone making me feel welcome and integrated. I was trusted to do work for current projects.
There was always someone available to answer any of my questions.
Didn't really gain skills that would help me in my studies.
The Company
Very well structured. I had a very varied week working in two different offices and on client site. I shadowed employees from other service lines and had meetings with others to ask questions and find out more about the work they do.
Great. I left feeling like I would definitely want to work there!
Only a week so none of this.
I spoke to several people on the graduate programme and learnt more about what it entails. I was able to work on a real project so it gave me an idea of the day to day tasks I might have to do.
It helped a lot. I got a real sense of the culture of the company and what it would be like working in a regional office.
Everything Else
As I was only there for a week there were no networking events.
There were none during the week.
I heard about some sports teams but not much else.
It was a great week, especially as I got to see the sort if work a senior manager would do.
