  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • I had a really great time during my placement. Everybody I met was extremely friendly and helpful and I had the chance to experience a variety of things during my time there.

    • As it was in a regional office there was definitely a family feel with everyone making me feel welcome and integrated. I was trusted to do work for current projects.

    • There was always someone available to answer any of my questions.

    • Didn't really gain skills that would help me in my studies.

    The Company

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • Very well structured. I had a very varied week working in two different offices and on client site. I shadowed employees from other service lines and had meetings with others to ask questions and find out more about the work they do.

    • Great. I left feeling like I would definitely want to work there!

    • Only a week so none of this.

  • 8. To what extent did the insight help you to understand what it would be like to have a full time role with the company or firm?

    • I spoke to several people on the graduate programme and learnt more about what it entails. I was able to work on a real project so it gave me an idea of the day to day tasks I might have to do.

    • It helped a lot. I got a real sense of the culture of the company and what it would be like working in a regional office.

    • As I was only there for a week there were no networking events.

    • I heard about some sports teams but not much else.
