The Role
Great learning experience but it was hard work.
Almost all the people I worked with were amazing and happy to help.
I experienced two different management styles and they were both extremes. One was very autocratic and the other was very lassie faire and I found neither were very motivational.
Long hours are essential to be successful at this role.
I enjoyed that there is no glass ceiling at Hays and you have the opportunity to excel if you put the effort in. However I think there is more expected of you as a student.
The Company
Work hard, play hard.
My internship was one of the first years to do it so it wasn't greatly organised however this year a internship programme was put in place and it seamed to work a lot more efficiently.
Lots of training opportunities.
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Offered a position after I graduate.
The Culture
Good social atmosphere between colleagues. Not many students when I was there but there is more social events for the new students.
