  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Great learning experience but it was hard work.

    • Almost all the people I worked with were amazing and happy to help.

    • I experienced two different management styles and they were both extremes. One was very autocratic and the other was very lassie faire and I found neither were very motivational.

    • Long hours are essential to be successful at this role.

    • I enjoyed that there is no glass ceiling at Hays and you have the opportunity to excel if you put the effort in. However I think there is more expected of you as a student.

    • Work hard, play hard.

    • My internship was one of the first years to do it so it wasn't greatly organised however this year a internship programme was put in place and it seamed to work a lot more efficiently.

    • Good social atmosphere between colleagues. Not many students when I was there but there is more social events for the new students.
