About You
Even though it was only a week long, I was given many opportunities to meet different employees and clients
Always felt part of the team
Not much guidance needed for the basic duties given
The main skills I developed were communication- verbal and written and using Word and Excel which will definitely assist me during my final year (dissertation etc) and my career
The Company
The Director had planned everyday well, allowing me to experience public service and core assurance
Everyone in the office and the team during client visits were friendly and helpful
Due to the short length of time, there was not much training given. However I was told that graduates receive plenty of training
Pretty good understanding as everyday was different, but I didn't experience full time working alongside learning for the ACA as graduates do
Showed that PwC has a friendly and supportive culture
Everything Else
It has helped me decide on assurance and has also exposed me to the different opportunities within assurance
New opportunities everyday
No social opportunities due to the short length of time there
Yes, the resourcing manager told me about the various 'societies' and socials
You learn a lot in a small amount of time and get to network with Directors and senior management
