The Role
Project was well managed and useful for the division.
Colleagues treated me with respect and valued my input.
I was never refused guidance when I needed it
I was never left without work nor did I feel too pressured to complete something if it took longer than anticipated
I was given a non-critical but useful project to complete as can be expected from this type of placement.
The skills I developed will be useful in my studies.
The Company
A relaxed environment that didn't distract from work
Some hiccups early on but after than no real issues.
Colleagues were never too busy to offer help for however long was needed.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
I was offered an extension to my placement.
The Culture
I didn't really socialise with other placement students but occasionally with collagues
Cambridge is expensive to live in
There are 2-3 nightclubs and a variety of pubs, as can be expected from a university town
Cambridge has plenty of things to do.
