About You
Well planned insight week, with many opportunities to learn and take responsibility. Felt valued and welcomed.
All staff were supportive and complimentary of work undertaken when shadowing or in presentations. Enjoyed working with all people I met as they truly understood what type of work would suit me and how to value me best.
Graduate recruitment were the most helpful. They had comprehensive knowledge of the industry, firm, opportunities and career advice.
Until now, I have used all the skills gained. These include presentation skills, organisational skills, time management and teamwork. I have also become more confident.
The Company
Exciting and varied work, structured to keep us interested and on our toes.
Everyone at Citi was friendly, welcoming and helpful, from the receptionists and door staff, to senior managers and vice presidents.
They ran workshops, games and presentations. These allowed us to learn and understand what skills and training we would require to be a good employee. These ranged from trading games to formal presentations before a panel.
I feel extremely knowledgeable about life at Citi. The information given to us in presentations was even more enhanced by talking everyday with staff from the firm and graduate recruitment. All staff were very helpful and genuine in giving us a good and realistic impression of working at Citi.
It was a fantastic experience in understanding the company culture. All staff were very helpful and genuine in giving us a good and realistic impression of working at Citi.
Everything Else
I found that reimbursing expenses was sufficient for this spring week. I understand that some firms do pay insight students, which would have been nice.

We were given a lengthy presentation surrounding opportunities for charity work and sports. These seem comprehensive and encompass a broad range of interests.
Certainly, it was a fantastic opportunity to view the industry and understand what it is like working in such a high profile firm.
