The Role
Good atmosphere. Nice introductory week.
Everyone was nice :)
I had a personal mentor, whom I could always ask everything.
I had a lot of freedom and there was no pressure on what had to be done at the end of the day. So it was all up to me, how much I made out of it.
As a young programmer, you are obviously not that skilled to have that much responsibility. But on the other hand, I think it was more important to receive training to get to a higher level.
As I am not a computer scientist, it offered me the possibility to learn professional software development skills.
The Company
Generally good, always up for a small joke.
ok.
I did not have the feeling to deliver work, it was rather me learning new skills and they gave me a lot of time to do so.
Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
Travel loan
The software department is growing. So everything is possible.
The Culture
Good.
As Reigate is a bit out of London, the prices were not that high, although it was for some people hard to find accommodation (but the company paid either for that or travel expenses)
There was a BBQ and Pub-visits.
A bit, e.g. Rounders tournament
