The Role
A challenging but fantastic experience.
Very much felt part of the Renault family.
Support given when needed, otherwise they trusted me to get on with it.
Never bored.
Much more than expected for a placement.
Learnt a lot about all aspects of HR and the business environment.
The Company
Friendly, fun atmosphere.
Very well, structured induction and communication before starting was excellent. Lots of students so put into a joint Facebook group with Nissan to house share.
Some great opportunities.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Graduate Development Scheme is fantastic but not for me as I'd like to specialise.
The Culture
There were so many of us (with Nissan) and relocating meant we all socialised often.
Uxbridge, where I lived, was relatively cheap as there's a university there. Rickmansworth, where the office is, is more expensive.
Non-existent in Rickmansworth but great in Watford, Uxbridge and easy enough to get into London.
Sports and Social club frequently organised good events and there were always opportunities to organise your own.
