The Role
Although some of the work wasn't very exciting, the people I worked with were very friendly which made the job interesting.
Colleagues encouraged me to ask questions when I was unsure and put on events to get to know the firm.
Answered all my questions that I had.
Sometimes I didn't have work to do but that was mainly because the job I was on was for the interim period.
I was straight away talking to clients and asking questions to them.
Great experience of seeing what the job entailed.
The Company
Everyone is sociable and friendly.
Informed early on what jobs I will be working on and any events that were scheduled.
Didn't really have much training, although there was an interview skills session during the induction
Company Parties/Events
Fast tracked to the partner interview
The Culture
Everyone at the induction event was friendly and sociable.
I commuted to work via train so I'm not sure about the cost of living.
Didn't go out during the placement, but Cambridge is good.
There weren't many offered while I was there, but was told once you start there are plenty of opportunities
