The Role
The internship taught me plenty of new things with responsibility being expected from the start without feeling out of my depth.
Very friendly firm
Generally given good explanations throughout and superiors were approachable to ask for more guidance.
Kept busy during regular hours but not beyond that.
Met two clients individually and did meaningful work throughout.
A very good introduction into what to expect for a career in audit.
The Company
Friendly and fun intervals to longer periods of work.
Clients were appropriate for an internship, however, no consideration was taken to location of clients.
Plenty of individual instruction but due to lack of other interns no general training.
National Travel
Very interested in pursuing a career with Smith and Williamson
The Culture
None
London prices, but no different to any other London internship, costs travelling to clients were reclaimable.
