The Role
Both the job and the company were fun and interesting, especially since the happiness of the employees (and also interns) is one of the priorities of the company. The others involve delivering a high quality service to the customers, to reward the hard-working, so on.
Everyone was friendly to each other and had fun together. Also, because it is a small company, everyone was important.
Very friendly and always able to give advice and to help when necessary (even when this situation arose almost every time)
It varied on the difficulty of the tasks involved, but, even so, we were allowed to choose how much time we should invest in those parts of the project.
Everyone had to do important tasks of the project, so we had some responsibility regarding getting our work done.
During this 4 weeks I have developed many skills, related to software development, most of them being very useful both for the remaining years at university and for any future internships and jobs
The Company
Since many events were organised by the company (going to the pub, mountain-climbing, so on) and there is a special place for everyone to chill-out, it is self explanatory.
Very well organised, you are able to find anything you wanted to know quite easily and it can be said the same about the project itself.
Because it was a training internship they spent a lot of time training us, which will be very useful for us in the future.
Very appealing, mostly because of the work environment and how dedicated they are to their own work and projects.
The Culture
Because it is a small company, people are friendly with each other and there are many fun things to do here, so I believe there is no need to tell much about it.
Because it is London, it is expensive, very expensive. Also, can't say much about socialising (not applicable in my case)
Can't say much about this subject, since I didn't have any reason to experience the Nightlife in this area.
The company itself organised many events, most of them being quite fun and they also have a place to relax during a small pause from the task at hand (mostly at lunchtime)
