The Role
Great exposure into a commercial finance role that offered a lot of responsibility with the opportunity to get involved with different/complex projects.
Good team spirit with input into group discussions regarding month end results.
Regular manger/mentor meetings, offering future career advice or any work problems.
Month-end cycle with various request to help analyse regional market.
Responsible for providing commentary on the Regional performance, an active role during the budget period, as well as creating various market analyses reports.
Experience of variance analysis, various management/leadership training days organised, advanced IBM Cognos training.
The Company
Very approachable employees within different areas of the company. Great team spirit with regular arranged team events.
Very well organised with exposure to senior levels of finance and various training courses as part of the intern programme.
A lot of opportunity with advanced Cognos training, personal mentor development, and management/leadership and public speaking sessions.

Difficult to arrange due to fellow students living in different areas.
Proximity to London meant high costs of living and regular visits to Windsor were not cheap.
Better night life slightly further a field.
Opportunity to join a social club that arrange various different events throughout the year.
