  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Really enjoyed every aspect of it. Lots of socials, events and sport to keep me busy during free time too

  • Given work which freed them up to do other work, so felt valued

  • Everyone introduced themselves and offered help and advice. Line manager was always available too

  • Had an intern project on the side which meant if I ever had time I could spend time on that

  • Enough to feel valued but a fair amount considering the circumstances

  • I believe they will be useful/transferable in anything I do

  • Friendly, happy and sociable

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Execptionally well organised. Compared to my past internship it was incredible. Everything was organised and prepared before the internship actually started, with login details etc set up a couple of months before. Really well thought of so well done to the HR team!

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • We had several training sessions every week and other webinars designed to give a feel of the company as a whole, which were useful and interesting. We also had several meet ups in London with all the other interns, in order to meet them and different staff, as we as presenting our work.

  • Towers Watson is a very good company to work for. They look after you and provide a good benefits package.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • Lots of younger staff, graduates and other interns made the weeks pass by. I really enjoyed spending time with this great group of people

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Towers Watson covered the cost of my accomodation, as well as funding various social events. Leeds is also a realtively cheap place to live.

  • Great nightlife here in Leeds. Probably enjoyed it too much

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
  • Had countless drinks, meals, frisbee games, football games and fun outside of work.
