  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • It was my first time working in a real company, and the internship exceeded my expectations.

    • The colleagues are really friendly and helpful - don't be afraid to ask anything!

    • Not only the supervisor, but anyone in the office is happy to provide help.

    • I had to decide my own milestones, and I didn't feel to pressured about the project.

    • My project was to create a new program which would help one of their products - it was nice to feel that your work would be useful in the end!

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • It was not only beneficial for my programming skills, but also it made me understand what working in such a company is like - both in a team and individual.

    • The atmosphere was nice and relaxed.

    • I was assigned to a mentor that was more than happy to answer any question.

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • We had a couple socials, and the whole atmosphere was really nice.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • Finding accommodation only for 6 weeks was a little hard, but I finally managed to find an affordable one.

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?

    • Reigate is quite small, and the fact that we all lived in different areas didn't really help for going out.

    • There was another team project that involved interns from other department.
