The Role
From day one I was given real responsibility and the opportunity to work on several different projects. I've worked with some of the most skilled and interesting people in the industry and everyone is really nice and helpful!
I was given real responsibility to help out with actual work and projects, and my concerns and questions were always taken seriously. People always took their time to help me whenever there was something I didn't understand!
My manager always tried to make sure I was being involved in work and that I got the training and advice I needed.
The workload varied from day to day. Most days I always had something to do without becoming too busy, but other days I would have enjoyed to have more work to do.
I was always involved in real work and given real responsibility!
The skills I developed during my internship will definitely be useful to my degree and further studies. The internship has given me a better understanding of the how the theoretical elements of my degree are applied in practice!
The Company
The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming.
The internship was fairly well-organised with a reasonably clear structure. There could have been some more scheduled training specific to your line of business, but apart from that the organisation was generally good!
I was encouraged to develop my professional skills by for instance completing online courses that the company provided, but there could have been some more personal development opportunities, and in particular relating to the relevant line of business.

National Travel
The company is excellent in terms of career opportunities and professional development. There is a friendly atmosphere and numerous opportunities to work abroad.
The Culture
The company arranged a number of social events and other opportunities for us to meet and socialise with the other interns.
Accommodation and living costs were quite high, but it was usually possible to find cheaper alternatives.
The nightlife scene varied quite a lot depending on which office I was in on a particular day, but most of the time it was excellent!
The company arranged several socials and there were opportunities to play sports and take part in other activities outside of working hours.
