  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • The project I was working on was interesting and the colleagues were nice.

    • I was treated as a member of the team, attended meetings and team lunches,BBQs.

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?

    • I was given lots of support. Every question I had was answered fast. However, I didn't have very much supervision on my work. I was just reporting what I have done the previous day every morning.

    • I was quite busy. I was working on my project with my team and I was working on a HR project with some of the other interns.

    • The project I was given was more research in an area that my team wanted to explore. So, my work will be important for the future rather than the present.

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • I put into practice the skills I had learnt in college. I think the skills will be useful for my future career.

    • Everyone is friendly and open for a chat. Also, there were areas for relaxing and games.

    • It was well organised.

    • We received training which provided us with knowledge for the company specific area of business.

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?

    • The company is one of the best in the industry and I liked my project, but I didn't find the projects that the other interns were working on that interesting.

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Yes. We had events with all the interns several times.

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • I lived in an expensive accomodation in London and had to pay for train tickets as well, but the company helped me a lot with accomodation expenses. So overall, the end price was cheap.

    • The town I worked in was small without any great nightlife scene, but London is very close.

    • Yes, there were lots of events organised like BBQs, lunches and even sports tournaments.
