The Role
My work was all new. I enjoyed the challenge of working relatively long hours 6.30 a.m. -8 p.m. because I had very varied work throughout.
My work is now used on a daily basis so I was highly valued throughout the process. I was involved in the preparation for several client pitches. I also got on particularly well with both desks.
HR and Management were always keen to meet with us - We had sessions with every member of the management and they were readily available if we wanted to organise further meetings. It was surprising how happy they were to help.
On most days, I was really busy having to stay a bit later than the rest of my team. However, the work was enjoyable and so I didn't mind. There were very few times in which I had too much work at one time and I don't think I've ever been bored.
I spoke to potential clients although I think that would be unique to my desk. Some of my work is now being used daily and so in that sense I was responsible for reducing their workload in the future.
I want to work in PWM so it was an amazing experience...
The Company
Great atmosphere throughout
There is a fantastic HR team which organises it perfectly maintaining contact throughout the period before the internship began.
We had specific training days but the best training was on the job where everyone was happy to answer questions and show processes when necessary.

Morgan Stanley would be a fantastic place to start my career
The Culture
With the work load, it was difficult to organise too much time for social gatherings. However, the fellow interns, and some analysts would often relax after hours on a Thursday or Friday.
I live in London so I wasn't surprised by the cost.
London
I played football weekly.
