The Role
An internship with a nice duration, stimulating work and a collaborative atmosphere.
We were given levels of responsibility that I was satisfied with. I was in the Client Consulting Division and I was producing presentations that were used in client meetings.
It was noticeable how much time and effort both mentors and managers spent with us. Mentors would take time out every day to ensure things were ok, and managers often invited us down to the pub for an intern-manager catch up. Generally the atmosphere was quite collaborative and people were helpful.
There was always something to do. We were given ongoing projects so that even if we met our immediate deadlines there was always something to do.

I've developed a deeper appreciation of financial markets which will be useful in my degree and later on in life.
The Company
Vibrant, collaborative atmosphere.
Generally I was happy with the ad hoc nature of the work, but sometimes one felt the work could perhaps have been a little bit more structured.

Flexi Time
Company Parties/Events
It is an appealing prospect. Global organisation, stimulating work with client facing roles mean the job isn't at all repetitive.
The Culture
Plenty of socials and we got to meet up with the other interns in other offices regularly.
Leeds definitely has cost of living advantages vs London
Leeds has a great selection to suit most tastes but I didn't really go on many nights out with the other interns (there are only 4 of us in the leeds office)
Frisbee. Football. Golf. Etc etc.
