The Role
It has given me direction into what career I want to pursue.
Teaming events help create better working relationships with current employees.
Any problems or questions I needed solving I never hesitate to ask, no matter how small the problem is.
At times it can be quiet, but there is always plenty to do to help so I will never find myself bored.
Given my own work that needs to be done, with individual projects to complete. However there is always support if I find myself struggling with some parts.
Adapting what I have been taught in lectures/seminars and relating them to real life business situations.
The Company
Great atmosphere, can have a laugh with other employees, but everyone is serious when it comes to work.
Had problems with logging into the system and software at first, however this was solved within a couple of hours.
Regular training, including lean six sigma, which can be used through my working career.
Flexi Time
Subsidised/Company Gym
Doing all I can to gain a full time job with the company, this includes working late if something need to be completed.
The Culture
Regular weekend nights out are organised with the interns.
The business is situated just outside of cardiff, meaning that the surrounding area is cheap to rent a shared house. £2 a pint in local pubs.
Pubs and clubs situated 10 minute walk from where I live, and regular trains into Cardiff with a fantastic nightlife.
Football/rugby teams training every week. The company also invests into volunteering for employees to help the local community.
