The Role
Very enjoyable. Really insightful to be able to see the ins and outs of the industry
Seemed to be able to help people out on large projects and everyone was extremely grateful.
Lot's of support given all you had to do was ask
There were quiet periods but also very busy periods
Lot's of responsibility given on real jobs
Report writing and communication skills improved, seemed to be much more important than I had anticipated. Also being able to revise a plan.
The Company
Very relaxed and able to get on with work or have a chat.
Some quiet periods where you'd run out of work but overall the placement was smooth and there was enough to keep busy with feeling as if you were given jobs for the sake of it.
Allowed to use expensive software on jobs for training/work and taken on site visits and later reimbursed
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Good grad scheme / development program, with a foot in the door
The Culture
Yeah plenty of fellow students, just need to organise things
As expected in central London
London.
The odd arranged cricket and football matches
