The Role
Interesting work, a fun working environment.
We got on well and I felt they really cared that I had a good experience and learnt a lot.
I received almost as much support as I needed, which wasn't too much as I knew what I was doing quite well.
Hardly ever bored - lots of interesting, varied and useful tasks for me to do.
I felt had a substantial amount of responsibility, but not more than felt appropriate for my level of experience.
I learnt how to do finite element analysis with a very commonly used software package, a really useful skill for both my career and for university.
The Company
Quiet, productive, and fun on occasion.
It was extremely well facilitated, online systems made the process straight-forward.
Company was willing to support me learning a new software package.
Flexi Time
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
I wouldn't want an engineering job anywhere else.
The Culture
I made good friendships with my colleagues.
Completely affordable on the placement salary - I'm saving money for travelling too.
Great gigs nearby.
Lots of activities available.
