About You
It was very enjoyable as the work was varied, there was plenty to do and everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Definitely. everyone made a real effort to make it clear I could ask them any questions and people always followed up on tasks I had done to thank me.
Recruitment was very good at giving us a clear introduction to the firm and what we would be doing for the two weeks. They were also always a physical presence so you could ask questions. Furthermore all staff we very considerate and supportive.
It is going to be a huge help in the future as it has really boosted my confidence and I feel I can speak with much more authority on what I want to do in the future. The skills I learnt will be applied as a trainee.
The Company
Very good. It is was very organised and plenty of events were offered including social, networking, presentations and interview skills/negotiations.
Very friendly and open. There's a real family, close knit feel to the place. Probably because they're all under one roof.
They certainly invested a lot of resources, time and planning in what we did and learned over the two weeks.
I believe we did work which was representative of what we would do if we were recruited by the firm not was meaningful work that contributed to projects.
Certainly it clarified to me the supportive and collaborative environment.
Everything Else
It was standard amount for a vacation scheme.
Yes, as in each department I was introduced to everyone and the firm held office wide drinks reception in the office whilst I was there.
They were very imaginative, relaxed and enjoyable. I liked that they showed off Bristol as well as the firm as an attraction which it is. They were also all very different and really helped us get to know our trainee buddies.
We were informed from our first day of the different weekly events and encouraged to join in.
It was a unique experience that will definitely contribute to my future career and one I would definitely recommend.
