  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • Was unable to do a lot of the work due to restrictions. Very tedious work

    • Team were very welcoming and always appreciative of the work done

    • Varied between managers. Some much better than others!

    • Very variable. Some days will be very busy, others fairly boring

    • Responsibility for own actions but was not actually able to perform the main role of the team due to being an intern

    • Any placement is useful. By doing this placement I have been able to develop skills that I wouldnt have developed in a diferent role and also gained a lot of valuable knowledge

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?

    • Very dependant on the the floor and building you are in. Some far too quiet

    • Some areas were well organised, others not so well such as software. Other teams had little work for interns to do

    • A suprising number of top managers gave talks and the first 3 days were training. Could have been more actual training

    • Would be a great place to work if I found the right rile

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?

    • Students regularly organised events. Not as much socialising with colleagues

    • Canary Wharf is always going to be expensive

    • Mainly bars, should travel further affield for clubs

    • There was a charity run and a Finance Treasure Hunt
