The Role
Great job if you were interested in business, still very good for me
Very friendly staff and colleagues
Very good and regular communication channels.
Sometimes I was a bit bored, but generally I stayed busy
I had a great deal of freedom to choose my projects and do things on my own
Great life skills and experience, not entirely applicable to my degree or career goals, but definitely a great thing to put on a resume and I learned a ton
The Company
It was a workplace, but management definitely made an effort to make it an enjoyable and active environment as well.
There were not really any problems with my set up, I had one slight problem with payroll at the very beginning but that was at least half my fault
They gave me all the tools and opportunities I needed to learn and be successful within their business model and things that would also be useful to them.
I'm not interested in fulltime employment right now, but if I wanted another internship next summer or a job after graduation I feel I would be a very strong applicant because of my time here.
The Culture
We were all introduced and encouraged to spend time with other interns.
Not really sure as a lived about 30 minutes away, but it seemed reasonably priced. Definitely not cheap but not super expensive either.
Not much night life, but London is only about a 30 minute train ride away.
Some opportunities but not a ton.
