The Role
Great place to work!
Definitely felt valued, especially when there was a lot of work to be done!
Superiors/management/colleagues were always available to talk to and very approachable.
I was never expected to stay in the office past 5 but there were some days that I felt I needed to. I always had work to be doing - we were given lots of internal projects so that if there was less client work we could get on with those till it picked up.
Given the nature of the job it is very unlikely that you would be given a great deal of responsibility, but I felt that I was actually given work and placed on certain projects where I actually had quite an important role which was great!
The technical training is quite unlikely to help me in my degree studies, but the work and professional ethics I learnt and was given training on will certainly help me in the future
The Company
Really fun! People got their work done but there was still a lot of banter in the office
Everything was organised and fine
Lots of training - at least 10 hours which is a lot given it was a 6 week internship! Everyone would also spend time explaining work they gave to you and make sure you understood so in that sense they invested a lot.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Healthcare/Dental
The Culture
BBQ/sports tournaments/pub drinks at least 2-3 times a week!
Drinks were fairly expensive and I had to live in London and had to commute out so was pretty expensive
One club and loads of pubs
Could get involved with loads of sports and social events outside of work
