    The Role

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • Great place to work!

    5/5

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued by your colleagues?
  • Definitely felt valued, especially when there was a lot of work to be done!

    5/5

  • 3. To what extent were you given support and guidance by management/your supervisor(s)?
  • Superiors/management/colleagues were always available to talk to and very approachable.

    5/5

  • 4. How busy were you on a daily basis?
  • I was never expected to stay in the office past 5 but there were some days that I felt I needed to. I always had work to be doing - we were given lots of internal projects so that if there was less client work we could get on with those till it picked up.

    4/5

  • 5. How much responsibility were you given during your placement?
  • Given the nature of the job it is very unlikely that you would be given a great deal of responsibility, but I felt that I was actually given work and placed on certain projects where I actually had quite an important role which was great!

    4/5

  • 6. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and training you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?
  • The technical training is quite unlikely to help me in my degree studies, but the work and professional ethics I learnt and was given training on will certainly help me in the future

    4/5

    The Company

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Really fun! People got their work done but there was still a lot of banter in the office

    5/5

  • 8. How well organised was the overall work placement or internship set up?
  • Everything was organised and fine

    5/5

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • Lots of training - at least 10 hours which is a lot given it was a 6 week internship! Everyone would also spend time explaining work they gave to you and make sure you understood so in that sense they invested a lot.

    5/5

  • 10. What were the perks on your work placement?
  • Subsidised Canteen

    Company Parties/Events

    Healthcare/Dental

    4/5

  • 11. How appealing are future employment prospects within the organisation?
  • 5/5

    The Culture

  • 12. Was there a good social scene amongst any fellow placement students/colleagues?
  • BBQ/sports tournaments/pub drinks at least 2-3 times a week!

    5/5

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?
  • Drinks were fairly expensive and I had to live in London and had to commute out so was pretty expensive

    4/5

  • 14. What was the Nightlife like in the area you worked?
  • One club and loads of pubs

    3/5

  • 15. Were there many opportunities to get involved in activities outside of work?
