The Role
The work is undoubtedly interesting and challenging to keep you interested throughout the internship (and hopefully beyond that) but they also explain it very well and repeatedly if necessary. I really enjoyed the work and the balance you get by working on different projects.
Theres always a TW group going to lunch or out after work and they really welcome you in to all the events and are very friendly,
You have a Line Manager and Buddy, both of whom are invaluable. They explain work, give you work and most importantly feedback on your work! They also explain the more mundane and everyone is really friendly and supportive generally around the office so you never feel lost
Some days are busier than others. It really depended on the amount coming in but people were more than happy to give you work when you're free and give it to someone else if you were busy. I never felt over worked or under worked which was a great balance for me.
There really isnt much to be responsible for but you are a part of the client teams you work on a lot the work you do is important and you're responsible for it.
The skills and knowledge I've gained will be valuable to me in all aspects of my future prospects - truly invaluable knowledge you can only gain through experience
The Company
People are really nice, chatty and fun! With teh usual hot spots for a chat you can also get on with work when you need to.
Great introduction, training, Induction and the regular presentations for the intern project. The period is well thought out and planned.
A fair amount of training so we could work projects and a some personal training too
Subsidised Canteen
Sports and Social Club
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
A fair chance of getting a job - Won't know for a month or two
The Culture
Really a great bunch of us - we got to meet all the interns nationally on presentation days and the interns/recent graduate joiners in the same location would have lunch daily.
Pricy because it's London - but the subsidised canteen was good for lunches
I don't go out to enjoy the 'Nightlife' but from what I heard its awesome
Week after week there was something almost nightly!
