The Role
Really enjoyed it, felt like I learnt a lot of technical and work skills. Great experience working with a global team of interns and nice to learn more about the industry and working in large organisations.
I felt like I was treated as an equal member of the team and as a result, I was given a lot of freedom to implement my project however I wanted.
My management was always happy to help me out and this was especially useful to speed up some processes which depended on other people.
In general, I was quite busy which makes it interesting. On a few days, I found that I had to wait for other people in the organisation.
Quite a lot of responsibility, the design and implementation of my projects were almost completely my choice, this sense of trust was really motivational.
I think this has been a really great use of a summer, the technical skills I learnt are probably not that unique however the work skills (networking with people, working with a global team, having to depend on people) are things that I think are unique to such a large organisation.
The Company
Relaxed but everyone is hard working.
All events were very well organised. The work I was given also seemed to be well thought out and comprehensive.
Quite a few sessions about general internship development in the first few week however I felt there could have been more industry specific training.
Company Parties/Events
Very appealing.
The Culture
Pretty average.
London is expensive but that is expected.
n/a
Quite a lot of socials were organised however I would have liked to see some more variety in the events offered as most involved some kind of bar.
