About You
I thoroughly enjoyed the placement and felt welcome from the start.
As a potential employee I felt very valued within the company.
I am not currently studying the necessary degree for the job. However, this was appreciated by everyone in the company and things were explained clearly to me when necessary.
I learnt so many valuable skills from learning about the industry to basic communication skills which improved grately throughout the placement.
The Company
Some colleagues in the office were on holidays etc which made it difficult to spend time in all departments.
Everyone is so friendly in the office conveying a really nice atmosphere, also allowing me to feel very comfortable.
As I was only in the office for 4 weeks I was not specifically trained in anything. I was however fully informed on the companys computer and telephone systems.
Just being in the office for the whole time allowed me to get a feeling for what it would be like to work there. C&W clearly employ bright and genuinely lovely people which makes it even more of a delight to work here.
I got a feeling of the company culture just from being in the company. Also, speaking to other agents allowed me to see their view on the company. There is a massive team spirit which is really nice to be involved in.
Everything Else
I was paid very generously for my time here.
As the Glasgow office is small I managed to meet most of the employees here. I also met a few employees and spoke to a few on the phone from Edinburgh and elsewhere.
I went on a few social lunches with some of the girls in the office, which was great in order to get to know them better. I was also invited to the office lunch which was a great opportunity to meet everyone in the office.
There were lots of conversations about everyons interests and hobbies.
I have had a great time and would recommend to anyone interested in the industry.
