    About You

  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy the insight?

    • It has been an extremely valuable experience, providing vital information on the tasks I will undertake in practice. Everybody has been extremely friendly and welcoming and their approachable nature has really added to the enjoyment factor.

  • 2. To what extent did you feel valued during your time at the company or firm?

    • I felt included as a valuable member of the team. My biggest fear beforehand was feeling useless but this has simply not been the case.

  • 3. How much guidance/support did you receive during the insight?

    • The Knowledge Team were outstanding - they really helped me to understand the IT systems and were always on-hand to help whenever required. Likewise, everybody I encountered wanted to help and not once did I feel I couldn't ask someone a question.

  • 4. To what extent did/will the skills you developed, and information you received, assist you in your degree studies and beyond?

    • This experience will definitely help when choosing my LPC electives and I am certain that I will put the skills exercised here to good use in the future.

  • 5. How well structured was the insight?

    • The whole experience has been impeccably organised. The timetable presented at the beginning has really helped to the point where I have been able to plan my time down to the finest detail.

    • Everybody was warm, friendly and welcoming. The entire firm treated us like one of their own.

    • Numerous resources were put at our disposal and significant training was provided in all areas.

    • I have been treated as an employee throughout and I would be comfortable stepping into a full time role.

    • Undertaking the project required an in-depth understanding of the company values and culture.

    • The rate of pay was exceptional.

    • Numerous events throughout the placement to meet both employees of the firm as well as people from other companies.

    • As above - very good fun and valuable for networking purposes.

    • We were kept informed about charitable events and sporting/ music clubs etc.
