The Role
Really enjoyed the whole experience, PwC is a great company to work for.
Everyone made an effort to really involve the interns, we were assigned a buddy who was a first year graduate and they helped to welcome us into the firm, answering any questions we had.
Lots of support, my manager was really helpful and everyone was willing to help and show me how to do things.
Always plenty of work to do, but never too much that I was working really long hours, average working day was from about 8.45 till 5.45.
Given plenty of responsibility to complete my own work, treated the same as a new graduate starter would be and got stuck in with the work. No tea making or photocopying!
Whilst the skills I have learnt will not directly help with my degree, the business knowledge I have gained will stand me in good stead in the future. Also I have developed my peoples skills specifically my communication skills.
The Company
The atmosphere in the office was really good and everyone was friendly and got involved.
Very well organised, as it is such a big programme that has been running for a long time it is extremely well organised with lots of development days and opportunities to spend time with interns from across the country.
As mentioned, lots of development days and training opportunities.

Company Parties/Events
I got offered a job in the same line of service and same office, however I am in the process of tryinng to transfer this offer elsewhere however I am definately keen to continue working for PwC after I graduate!
The Culture
Yes, really good social scene amongst the fellow interns both in Leeds, as well as in the Northern region in general.
As Leeds is in the north it was fairly cheap however like any big city the overall cost of socialising was not particularly cheap.
Good nightlife, the social scene mainly revolved around casual drinks after work rather than big nights out.
Yes, we had sports day within our department which was another great opportunity to get to know people.
