The Role
PwC made an effort to make every aspect of the placement enjoyable, whether it was while in the office or social events outside of work.
Every group i worked with treated me like a valued member of their team and made an effort to make me feel included.
I was coached through every new assignment i was given and always had a contact point to ask questions to as i worked through.
A good balance of busy days and more relaxed days. I never felt bored or exhasted from the work load.
I was given significant responsibility within the teams i worked with which made me take pride in my assigments and feel valued.
My placement does not directly relate to my degree but the professional skills i learnt will be an asset in the future.
The Company
Great atmosphere in the office, hard working but social and welcoming too.
Very well organised. Obvious that a lot of time and effort was put in to make sure we all had the best experience possible.
Internship started with a week induction course focusing on personal training and development. There were also intern development days throughout.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Interns have an exit interview to convert into a full time role and the the majority of people are accepted if their performance is high during the summer.
The Culture
Lots of drinks and lunches organised with other interns.
High but not unbearable.
Great!
There were a lot, but you have to be propactive in seeking them out.
