The Role
It was really enjoyable, but also hard work, always working more hours that our assigned hours of 9-17.30.
99% of people were great and didn't make me feel like an intern and were very helpful, although working with some higher up people I realised they don't really have time for an intern, so I was left alone not knowing what to do one day as the manager I was working for just didn't have the time for me.
My people manager and buddy were great.
Some days I was really busy and unable to finish all the work, other days I sat around with nothing to do for a long time. I was busy more often than not.
Just the right amount most of the time. Not too much as I don't know enough to make important decisions, but not too little that I was doing mundane tasks all the time. The manager mentioned above however didn't seem to understand how little I knew though, and they expected too much of me.
I think they will really help. I feel comfortable in the working environment now and more used to the working hours, which will help me at university to study more in my free time as i'm used to working longer hours.
The Company
There was always something going on, some social event or charity event. It was great.
More or less very well, although I was put on a client on my first week which didn't provide enough work for me and I felt quite useless, not good on my first week. I think for an intern in the first week it's very important that the manager or in charges have prepared enough work for them to do and have enough time to help them and sit with them so they feel useful and supported.
We were given all the support we could possibly get through training and development.

I would love to take a job here.
The Culture
Very social.
I live at home so this was free. Most social events were already payed for (drinks and food etc), but when I did have to pay it was relatively cheap.
Leeds is awesome.
There was lots going on, but I was here too shorter time to really get involved in anything.
