The Role
Great experience with real responsibility from day 1 and insight into real business cases
My colleagues were extremely supportive and willing to answer any questions. On completion of a piece of work, my team members were very appreciative of my help and happy to provide feedback
The 'buddy' system at PwC ensures there is always a point of contact for you to go to with any queries or problems. Being allocated a people manager further helps to control professional developmet
My workload was generally constant throughout the Internship. On that case that I did have capacity, my team members were proactive in identifying engaging work for me
I was treated like an integral part of the team, working on items that other members deal with. Everyone was confident in handing me work, trusting me to complete it to a high level of quality
Gaining insight into tax will prove invaluable for the future, especially when it comes to managing my own tax
The Company
My team were extremely friendly and lively - happy to chat about anything. Treats were shared around on special occasions and team lunches / social activites were organised from time to tme
Very well structured Internship, right from the start with the Induction
There was not much time to undertake training, however the team encouraged me to get involved with education courses and shadowing to broaden my knowledge
I would be delighted to work at this company in the future - the work is incredibly stimulating / engaging and the people are second to none
The Culture
The interns got together outside of work on a regular basis - very social environment
Very expensive around the London area, however I was lucky enough to stay with a friend. PwC organised social events provided the chance to socialise at no cost and meet new people
Amazing but expensive
The world is our oyster!
