The Role
It was varied and challenging but provided a great insight into the company.
At the start I wasn't given much to do, but by the last few weeks I was treated as any other graduate with a little extra support.
Coached through all the tasks but given the freedom to work independantly too.
Some jobs were normal hours (9:30-5:30) but one client was very busy and some days i dind't leave the office until gone 8.
Given my own tasks to complete like any other grad.
Not that useful for my degree but received training in soft skills throughout the internship as well as coaching on the technical parts of the job.
The Company
Not that much socially as I was never really in the office. The teams I worked with my a good laugh though.
Regualr contact with a people manager, a buddy was assigned to you, jobs were organised for you in advance so you knew what you were doing.
Attended a development day during the internship to improve soft skills - branding, presenting etc.
Offered a grad job, which i intend to accept.
The Culture
We organised a few trips to the pub but as we were all on differnet clients and out the office this was quite difficult to coordinate.
fairly expensive, I stayed at Brunel University, so that was £20 a night. Central London is about 45 mins on the tube so lots to do if you are willing to travel a bit.
Not muhc going on, but London is fairly close.
Not that I was aware of.
