The Role
Really enjoyed the varied work I was given
Everyone made me feel so welcome, and at ease to ask any question.
Manager was readiliy available to answer any questions, assign me work and had regular meetings to check how I was getting on.
Most days had a good amount of work to do, odd day where there wasn't much to do, but just did online training programs. Think I would have preferred if there was a bit more to do!
I was given as much resposibilty as a graduate, so a lot, but with everything going through the PwC checking process (everything being checked by a couple of other people before being sent out to clients) so didn't feel too much pressure.
Will help me with my future career path, and improved my general networking skills.
The Company
Everyone really chatty, friendly and funny.
Very organised, first week being trained- 3 days in a hotel (great fun!), next day in local office and 5th day in regional office. Well organised throughout, with other development days with the other interns incorporated.
Trained throughout the process, not just the first week!
Company Parties/Events
96% of interns get a job offer at the end!
The Culture
Regularly went for drinks with the other interns, very often drinks and meals with colleagues (if people were leaving/ had birthdays etc).
MK isn't too bad!
Quite a few clubs in MK, not known for their high class but great fun anyway!
Weekly sporting events among colleagues.
