The Role
Absolutely fantastic experience! Everyone was incredibly attentive, helpful and friendly. I greatly enjoyed the experience conributing to work and was pleasantly surprised as I had expected to spend more time shadowing.
Colleagues were very attentive and helpful, encouraging me to ask plenty of questions. They were also grateful and thankful for the efforts I made.
Adam Morton, my people manager was incredibly attentive. He was prompt to reply to any queries I had. He gave detailed responses and was proactive in consistently checking I was managing on clients sites.
There was no pressure to get more work done, colleagues were very helpful with what I was set. They were also able to give more work on request.
I think the "I was running the show!" comment is misleading. The jobs did entail responsibility, however, the environment was safe since the work done was always checked by a senior member of staff. I was encouraged to speak to the clients but team members were happy to accompany me if I did not feel comfortable going on my own.
Both in terms of job specific skills and wider skills of networking, building and maintaining relationships both with staff and clients.
The Company
Fantatsic atmosphere. But this in no way restricted the hard work.
