The Role
The placement was extremely enjoyable, largely due to the team based work and huge amount of variety.
I felt extremely valued, I was given a lot of responsibility, trusted to speak independently with clients and there were some great socials to get to know everyone outside of work.
All managers were very supportive and understanding of my abilities and limited training, they gave me increasingly challenging work as I progressed which pushed me to develop quickly.
When on client sites (around 70% of the overall time) I always had enough work to fill the days, but not so much that I regularly had to go beyond my contracted hours.
I was given progressively more responsibility as managers realised by capabilities, it was clear we were doing exactly the type of work we would be performing as a grad.
I have developed significantly in terms of professional skills and client communication. My time management and organisational skills have improved and I feel that everything I've learnt will benefit me in many aspects of my life.
The Company
The role was primarily client based so I spent limited time in the office, however the office atmosphere was very light and relaxed and everyone was very friendly.
Very well organised, went without a hitch!
3 days formal residential training then on-site training throughout the 6 weeks.
Subsidised Canteen
Company Parties/Events
Jot a job offer at the end which I intend on taking!
The Culture
Socials and drinks 2 or 3 times a week with colleagues, the business unit social club organises regular formal social activities.
London is expensive!
Again, it's london so there's a lot to choose from!
As said above, regular social activities e.g. cocktail workshops and theatre trips.
