  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?
  • I'm from Nigeria and I had a really strong culture shock when I came in. I received alot of support from HR and it helped me better adjust to the enviroment.

  • They were always there to answer all of my questions and every project I worked on was appreciated. They asked about my well being and I felt really comfortable. They made me look forward to coming to work. I was always given contructive feedback. they were really warm and receptive.

  • i had all of the support i needed. they went out of their way to really help me.

  • I was always engaged at all times but it was well distributed and planned between networking and learning and shadowing.

  • I had mostly daily tasks basically because of my division and desk line of business.

  • THE SKILLS I HAVE LEARNT HERE ARE GOING TO LAST ME A WHOLE LIFE TIME! PRICELESS IS THE WORD!!!

  • 7. What was the general atmosphere in your office?
  • Very fast paced and energitic....the tempo was always high, there was never a dull moment.

  • it was well planned and organised and at all times, I knew what to do and what was coming next. i was never clueless or lost.

  • 9. In terms of personal training and development, to what extent did the company or firm invest in you?
  • I had series of training before i started on my dsk. different companies have been contacted to help teach us all that we needed. it was a huge investment as the companies are the best in the field and all that was taught was relevant to my work. the bank also planned for senior managers in the firm to come teach and share their experiences with us.

  • it was relatively moderate. being at the center of London

  • there are a lot of networks to join and be active in. the Bank planned events for us to meet with them and then choose.
