The Role
A very challenging placement where you're forced to really manage your time effectively but an excellent opportunity to really show what you're capable of. I was treated exactly the same as a graduate and given the platform to develop some great skills.
In my particular area there was a strong, supportive team on hand.
My particular manager was very supportive. I knew she was on hand at all times if I needed assistance, and she also helped with my CV etc at the end of the internship.
Varied throughout the internship. Some weeks were very busy, others were less so.
A large responsibility which I feel has already developed my confidence as a person.
Helped me gain a further insight into what aspects I would/wouldn't look for in a future career.
The Company
The atmosphere was filled with so much fun and humor.
There were some initial teething problems and things did crop up during the internship at times but these were relayed either to the relevant team of to the internships manager so they can be addressed in future years.
I feel very supported and always know where to go for advice.
Subsidised Canteen
Subsidised/Company Gym
I feel confident that I can fit back into a graduate role.
The Culture
Very good social scene.
Socialising is pretty cheap in the area.
Great clubs.
Socials were advertised but I was a remote intern so was not in the right location.
