The Role
I was given so many responsibilities as an Intern, with some of the best people. I felt very valued as part of the company, which was shown through various company events and bonuses.
Everyone that I met helped me progress and were prepared to dedicate personal time to my development.
I received a lot of support and training. Be it at head office, with my manager at the branch, or after work over dinner.
The branches that I worked at were always very busy, there was never nothing to do.
There were very few boundaries to my responsibilities. On a number of days I was running the branch.
I have learned so much to take back to university with me, and to anything else that I may find myself doing.
The Company
Even though it was very busy. I was always having a laugh and joke with both my colleagues and the customers. Nights out with the team were always good fun too!
All progression is personally recorded. There is a guide as to what you should be achieving from month 1 to month 12 to keep you progressing. There are a number of training days at head office to assist with this development.
Head office ran a number of all day training courses that were very beneficial. Each employee is given a folder to use for progression throughout the year. Mentors are given, and it is important for the company that managers help you to progress personally.

Company Parties/Events
There is no time limit on promotion, and all promotions are done internally. I have seen many people get more than one promotion in the 12 months of me being there. I hope to return and be one of them.
The Culture
Nights out with the company are great. Introduction week is also good fun. There was still time to socialize as long as it was planned.
I worked 20 minutes from my University so no problems at all.
Worked just outside London so a big night was never far away.
It was difficult to match days off with work colleagues, but the nights out and annual dinners were amazing.
