    • Really enjoyed the problem solving aspect and the freedom to find novel solutions

    • I was treated very fairly and my opinions were carefully listened to

    • Unfortunate that members of my group were often away on business.

    • Always had something to do and was never given work that I could not complete

    • Would not have wanted to have taken too much of a responsible role in a summer placement.

    • Worked on a very particular task that is probably less relevant to my degree however my programming skills and engineering approach are much improved.

    • Was a little quiet at times becuase people were often on holiday, away on business or working elsewhere in labs.

    • Very well organised, lots of preparations had been made before I began.

    • Was allowed on an external engineering related visit on company time.

    • Would have been good to have worked in the same department/project as another summer placement student.
