The Role
I was made feel very welcome from day 1 and everything was ready for me to start work straight away (desk, laptop, phone etc.)
The work I was to carry out was outlined to me and the importance it had to bigger projects within the business.
Support and guidance was always there when and if I needed it.
Everything was well balanced. I had realistic deadlines which allowed me to manage my time well.
The responsibility increased as the year went on.
Especially in project management and time management.
The Company
Large open plan office but not overly crowded so everyone knew everyone. It was great to be able to speak to different people who were working on different projects.
Very. Everything was arranged for me prior to my arrival.
Whatever training was needed, was supplied without question.
Flexi Time
Sports and Social Club
Subsidised/Company Gym
National Travel
Financial Bonus
Company Parties/Events
Above 25 days holiday
Very. I would love to return and will be applying to do so.
The Culture
There were many graduates however only 2 interns on this particular site. Graduates sometimes tended to stick with the graduates.
Very cheap. However there was not much to do. Public transport was poor for UK standards. The nearest city was a long drive.
Quiet. However there was not much to do. Public transport was poor for UK standards. The nearest city was a long drive.
There was the social club/gym and golf club. Not much for young people.
