The Role
I enjoyed the placement and the company as an overall experience, however I learnt that the job role was not for me, this is why I have given this rating.
All my colleagues were lovely to work with and always willing to help.
I was given excellent support and help when needed. I was also encouraged to ensure my work for university was completed. I was also supported to further my knowledge and also to meet my yearly objectives.
Work was normally continuous however there were some occasions where there was more or less work. Quieter times allowed me to work on my university work and to organise my workload for busier periods.
I was assisting my manager in many ways but had a lot of meetings that I ran myself and had a project which I worked on without my manager.
I learnt a huge amount being at Disney, these skills will stay with me as they will help me in my studies and also my understanding of how to work within a business will help me when I continue my career.
The Company
The office was open plan and many people were fairly chatty. However occasionally the office was very quiet, this sometimes allowed for more focussed work.
My placement was well organised and I received all necessary information in good time.
I attended a few internal personal development sessions and also some external Project Management related events. This both helped me to develop personal and professional skills.

The organisation are wonderful to work for, however the job role and the location are not appealing to me as a career choice.
The Culture
There were many placement students throughout the company and we had a busy social life outside of work.
I lived at home for the duration of my placement. However, London socialising was expensive.
I didn't experience too much of London nightlife, but central London wasn't far and this is where we went most frequently.
I worked with Disney VoluntEARs around the Christmas period.
