The Role
The internship is really enjoyable with a good level of challenge.
My team is very helpful, however they could ask more help from me.
The guidance from my manager was clear and leaving space for independent work as well,
Since I manage my own workload, I try to plan my time efficiently.
I was given the topic for the project and soem starting data, but the main responsibility to develop research was left for me.
Report writing is a very valuabel skill, it will even help me at my last year of university.
The Company
My team is very focused as their work is challenging, so I can understand them not having fun.
We as interns were always took care of and felt like a community with weekly development sessions for everyone.
People were happy to meet me and share their knowledge, my supervisor invested her time in guiding me, and there are also training resources online.
Company Parties/Events
Staff Sales/Staff Shop
Healthcare/Dental
The atmosphere and wide mixture of positions in this company looks attractive.
The Culture
Social life is great during this internship, other interns are really friendly.
Edinburgh is definitely not the most expensive place to go out.
We have a wide choice of clubs, and Fringe festival provides great shows.
People were meeting and doing things outside of work.
