The Role
It was enjoyable because everyone was really friendly and approachable in the office, there is definitely a good company culture.
I felt that my contributions were valued
Support and guidance were not very strong but it was also not a bad thing as there was a lot of learning through trying.
It was extremely different everyday which is kind of the nature of consulting so can't really fault the company
I was given quite a lot of autonomy on a lot of a projects which was a really good experience.
The experience is definitely very valuable, because whilst some of the work may not have been the most challenging the overall internship provided valuable insight and exposure in consulting which you just can't get unless you work in a consulting firm.
The Company
People were extremely kind and friendly, but there were differences in the cultures in different offices. My office was one of the more formal and less social ones but people were still great.
Again, there are differences in each department so this is probably not a reflection for all. The internship was not very organised but that was probably the intent as it forces you to be more proactive I am guessing.
There was some training and they were great with helping to set up meetings just to talk and learn from people in the company.
It would be a good place to work.
The Culture
The offices are really divided and there weren't many interns in my office so it made for a difficult situation for socialising.
