The Role
Highly interesting work giving wide insight into the financial sector as a whole and from the regulatory perspective.
Felt well valued and appreciated by my team at a busy time during the peaks of a few projects.
Received good construcive feedback on work completed. Had 3 main review meetings, equally spread throughout the 10 week internship.
Very good balance. Never had to work more that 8.30 to 5.30 to get my work done and if any lapses in work occured there was always something worthwhile to read up on.
The right level. Was given opportunity to contribute to meetings with external organisations where responsibility increased fairly over time.
Useful Excel skills developed in particular. Communication with firms was also developed.
The Company
Very relaxed overall. Found it striked a nice balance between seriousness and banter.
Felt overall if was well coordinated by HR.
Given the short timeframe of being with the FCA you can't expect to much time to be spent in training. It is in this case better to simply learn on the job.

The Culture
Yes, since the there were 11 interns it was a nice number for easily organising events.
London living is always going to be expensive. Socialising was more price flexible.
It's London.
Yes, they have lots of sports/ social clubs which you can join.
