  • 1. To what extent did you enjoy your work placement or internship?

    • I enjoyed my placement as i was in a friendly environment and everyone was very helpful

    • i felt like a valued member of the team and my opinion mattered

    • My manager explained the work and i was able to ask as much questions as i wanted

    • i was kept with a good steady flow of work during my placement

    • I was given quite allot of responsibility as i have worked for Atkins for my industrial placement year , so when i came back for another summer placement i was already comfortable with taking on work

    • It improved my understanding of the industry and application of engineering principles

    • good atmosphere .. its quite so you can work

    • perfect organisation all thanks to the great HR lady who kept me informed and updated.

    • really nice placement with other students

  • 13. What was the cost of living and socialising in the area you worked in?

    • train tickets are quite expensive... then again south west trains are known to be expensive. for lunch there are nice sandwhich bars to go to

    • I have not tried the night life

    • yes there is a rounders game coming up and the young engineers always have something palnned
